hello, devlog

First entry, so let's start with what you're looking at.

This site is built by a small static site generator I wrote in Go — stdlib plus a markdown renderer, nothing else. Pages are html/template files sharing one layout; entries in this devlog are plain markdown with a bit of front matter on top. The whole build output is a few kilobytes of static HTML with zero JavaScript: no tracking, no webfonts, no third-party requests. View source — it reads like the page looks.

# the entire publishing flow
go run . build   # -> dist/

Why a devlog instead of a blog? Because "blog" felt like a promise to write essays, and this is more of a workbench: short notes about things I'm building.

Next up: whatever ships first.
